Swallows are one of my favorite birds to paint as they seem to encapsulate everything I imagine being a bird to be....freedom, play attentiveness, joy. They move through the air with such confidence and grace, darting in and out, catching the currents and letting the wind lead them. What a beautiful way to be in this world.
