This piece represents what I believe to be one of the most beautiful promises in all of scripture.
Isaish 61:3 " to strengthen those crushed by despair in Zion-to give them a beautiful bouquet in the place of ashes, the oil of bliss instead of tears, and the mantle of joyous praise instead of the spirit of heaviness. Because of this they will be known as Mighty Oaks of Righteousness, planted by Yahweh as a living display of his glory."
Crowned with Beauty is a 16x20 mixed media piece finished in oils. Hues of turquoise compliment the pinks and peaches with a fun pop of chartreuse green here and there. The artwork continues on the sides with a vintage world map.
